Carrickfinn Airport (pictured) was recently voted the most scenic landing worldwide and is just a 5 minute drive from the cottage, there are two flights daily to/from Dublin and one daily flight to/from Glasgow.  Car hire is available at the airport.  If travelling to Donegal from North America/Canada it is well worth considering using Carrickfinn, with add on flights from Dublin with Aer Lingus.
